Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Microsoft Azure , along with some exposure to Gen AI or Agentic AI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable data pipelines, optimizing cloud-based data solutions, and contributing to AI-driven initiatives aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Python and Azure data services.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes and ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
• Develop data integration solutions across cloud platforms and enterprise systems.
• Work closely with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to support Gen AI and Agentic AI model training, deployment, and data readiness.
• Optimize Azure-based data architectures (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data performance and scalability .
• Lead and mentor the data engineering team in adopting best practices and new technologies.
• Stay updated on evolving AI trends and automation related to data engineering.

Must-Have Skills:

• Python programming (advanced level) including scripting, data processing, and automation.
• Azure Data Services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Storage.
• SQL (strong proficiency) and database optimization.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and architecture .
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline orchestration .
• Exposure to Gen AI or Agentic AI tools/technologies (e.g., Azure OpenAI, LangChain, LLM-based data integration).
