Job Description

Role Purpose

Senior Data Build Tool (DBT) developer
- Location: India
- Required experience:

͏

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, Computer Science or related technical degree preferred

· 6+ years of relevant experience in implementation of enterprise data warehouse and related ETL or ELT technologies

· Strong experience in building and maintaining optimized data pipelines using Data Build Tool(DBT), SQL and Python

· Sound understanding of data modeling and ability to independently build out data pipelines in alignment with data transformation requirements

· Intermediate level experience working on informatica PowerCenter or other ETL tools

· Experience in the following skills/concepts is preferred:

· Snowflake, AWS services and management, including Serverless, Container, Queueing and Monitoring services

· Agile development cadence

· Software development practices such as version control via Git, CI/CD, and Release management

· Data exchange formats: Parquet, JSON, CSV

· Excellent communication, documentation, troubleshooting and collaborative problem-solving skills
