About the Role

Orchids The International School is looking for a Senior Copywriter with strong advertising experience and the ability to write effective, platform-first communication across press, OOH, social media ads, digital video, and Meta video ads.

This is a hands-on role for a writer who can move fluently between English and Indian languages, crafting high-impact short-form and long-form copy that connects with parents and families across regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Write compelling advertising copy for press ads, including long-format and tactical print communication.
• Develop clear, impactful out-of-home (OOH) copy for hoardings, transit media, and onground branding.
• Create social media ad copy across static, carousel, reel, and story formats.
• Write digital video and Meta video ad scripts (15s, 20s, 30s) for:

o Meta platforms (Instagram & Facebook)

o Performance marketing campaigns

o Brand and admissions-led communication

• Develop Meta Ads copy including primary text, headlines, descriptions, and CTA variants.
• Adapt copy across multiple languages and tonalities based on region and audience.
• Collaborate closely with designers, video teams, and performance marketers to ensure copy aligns with creative and conversion goals.
• Contribute to idea generation, campaign concepts, and creative discussions.
• Edit, proofread, and refine copy for accuracy, tone, and quality.
• Stay updated on advertising trends, platform best practices, and short-form content formats.

Qualifications & Experience

• 47 years of experience in advertising copywriting.
• Experience working in a creative agency, in-house brand team, or both.
• Strong portfolio showcasing work across:

o Press advertising

o OOH

o Social media ads

o Meta video ads (Reels, Stories, Feed videos)

o Short-form digital video scripts

• Multilingual writing capability is mandatory:

o Strong command over Hindi and HindiEnglish (Hinglish).

o Working knowledge of Kannada is a strong plus.

o Ability to write in any Indian language other than English is considered a significant advantage.

• Excellent command over structure, storytelling, and short-form writing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, on-site environment.
• Experience in education, parenting, or consumer brands is a plus.
