About the role: 

Assisting in test efforts planning and estimation, perform design, develop and execute test strategies/plans ensuring alignment with organization standards. Drive quality through both software and process improvements across multiple test teams. Manage test deliverables and schedules for multiple projects/streams, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated in accordance with project.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• 8+ Years of Extensive Experience working with multiple Databases, ETL and BI testing
• Working experience in Investment Management and Capital Markets Domain with is preferred
• Experience working in the applications like Eagle, Calypso, Murex will be added advantage
• Experience in delivering large releases to the customer through direct and partner teams.
• Experience in testing data validation scenarios and Data ingestion, pipelines, and transformation processes.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze quantitatively, scope business requirements and effectively prioritize program deliverables.
• Experience in Vertica, DataStage, Teradata, and Big Data environments for both data Ingestion and Consumption.
• Extensive knowledge on any Business Intelligence tool, Preferably MicroStrategy and Tableau.
• Extensive experience in writing and troubleshooting complex SQL Queries.
• Identify defect leakages and Implement QA process to overcome it.
• Train and develop data testing skills to the team.
• Expert in providing QA solutions based on Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modelling design.
• Expert in drafting ETL Source to Target Mapping document design.
• Identify data validation tools that will suit the ETL project conditions.
• Ensure all sign offs on deliverables (overall test strategy, test plan, test cases and test results) and that testing meets governance requirements.
• Establishing and driving Automation Capabilities. Collaborating with dev & architect teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for automation.
• Experience in ETL automation with open-source tools, Service Virtualization, CI/CD.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Scrum Masters to know the roadmap and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with QA and Dev team to fill the gaps/challenges, if any.
• Coordinate with US counterpart (QA, Dev leads) to give or take inputs in process/project improvements.
