Job Title: Inventory Planning Responsibilities 1. Evaluates deliveries and collaborate with Sourcing POCs to foresee any issue 2. Manage the companys Monthly/Weekly inventory movement and planning activities and ensure that all channels have right inventory level 3. Report to leadership/Stakeholders on stock levels, issues etc. 4. Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of Inventory Management 5. Ensure smooth and strong supply chain collaboration with brands 6. Analyze Demand and share buying projections with brand as per targets for coming month 7. Coordinate with different businesses like Ecom/D2C/Offline etc and provide billing support 8. Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure smooth inbound process 9. Share dock hit projections, and execute dock hit plans accordingly to ensure minimum deviation from the plan 10. Take the lead in creating profitable ways to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock to help offset losses 11. Identify process gaps and work towards process improvement plans.Requirements 1. Prior experience in a similar role. 2. Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques 3. An analytical mind with strong attention to detail. 4. Integrate demand forecasts into planning systems (e.g., ERP, SAP) to automatically generate supply chain inputs such as procurement, inventory replenishment, and order fulfilment strategies. Inventory Optimization: Align inventory levels with forecasted demand, minimizing stockouts or excess stock through system-driven inputs. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with merchandising, marketing, and logistics teams to align on promotions, new product launches, and demand spikes. Capacity & Order Management: Oversee capacity planning and order fulfilment strategies to ensure timely delivery and meet customer expectations. Process Improvement: Continuously improve demand forecasting processes and system integration for better accuracy and efficiency. Reporting & Insights: Track forecast accuracy and supply chain performance, providing data-driven insights to senior management.Experience:Prior experience in demand planning, supply chain, Capacity planning Proven experience integrating demand data into supply chain planning systems. Skills: Expertise in forecasting and advanced Excel. Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
