Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with 15 to 18 years of experience to lead our Accessibility Consulting initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive strategic projects ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and enhancing user experience for all. This role is crucial in promoting inclusivity and making a significant impact on society by enabling access to technology for everyone.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of accessibility consulting projects to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of accessibility strategies across various platforms and products.
  • Provide expert guidance on accessibility best practices to cross-functional teams including design development and QA.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify accessibility requirements and integrate them into project plans.
  • Conduct accessibility audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to guidelines.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate teams on accessibility principles and techniques.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of accessibility initiatives ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Advocate for accessibility within the organization promoting a culture of inclusivity and awareness.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their accessibility needs and provide tailored consulting services.
  • Ensure that all digital content and applications are accessible to users with disabilities.
  • Stay updated with the latest accessibility trends tools and technologies to continuously improve consulting services.
  • Manage project budgets timelines and resources effectively to achieve project goals.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement in accessibility practices.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a deep understanding of accessibility standards and regulations such as WCAG ADA and Section 508.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Show proficiency in conducting accessibility audits and using relevant tools and technologies.
