Deloittes Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.

Your work profile:

Azure Cloud SMEto provide subject matter expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role requires a strong mix oftechnical expertise, solution architecture, operational excellence, and leadership skillsto enable cloud adoption, optimize costs, and ensure security and compliance.
Desired Qualifications

Cloud Strategy & Architecture

Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on Azure.
Define cloud adoption strategy, landing zones, governance models, and migration approaches.
Serve as a trusted advisor for cloud-native and hybrid architectures.
Evaluate emerging Azure services and recommend adoption where beneficial.

Implementation & Delivery

Lead Azure infrastructure deployments, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
Implement and manage Azure Virtual Networks, VNets Peering, ExpressRoute, Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
Oversee application modernization and migration (on-premises to Azure).
Guide automation initiatives usingAzure DevOps, ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.

Operations & Support

ProvideL3 supportand act as escalation point for Azure-related incidents.
Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting through Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Ensure compliance, security, and performance optimization of cloud environments.
Drive cost optimization and resource utilization efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with business, IT, and security teams to align Azure solutions with business needs.
Collaborate with Microsoft and third-party vendors for roadmap alignment and issue resolution.
Conduct training, knowledge transfer, and capability building within internal teams.


Location and way of working:

Base location: Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad,Coimbatore & Chennai


This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.
Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customized the hybrid approach to their unique needs.


Your role :

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise
812+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in Azure cloud solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure IaaS (VMs, Storage, Networking) and PaaS (App Services, AKS, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid).
Expertise in Identity & Access Management (Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA).
Experience with Hybrid Cloud (Azure Arc, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute).
Knowledge of Backup, DR, and High Availability designs.
Familiarity with Windows/Linux administration in Azure context.
Automation & DevOps
Proficiency inTerraform, ARM, Bicep, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins for CI/CD.
Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Security & Compliance
Strong knowledge of Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, PCI, GDPR).
Hands-on with Azure Policy, Blueprints, and Governance best practices.
Leadership & Communication
Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior engineers.
Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholders and clients.
