We are looking for a skilled CAD/CAM Design Engineer Sheet Metal with strong product development expertise. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sheet metal design, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and familiarity with quality control procedures. This role requires close collaboration with production, quality, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, manufacturable products.

• Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies using CAD/CAM software
• Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing documentation
• Develop products from concept to production with a focus on cost, quality, and manufacturability
• Prepare CNC programs and support CAM activities for fabrication
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes
• Ensure designs comply with quality standards and industry regulations
• Conduct design reviews and implement improvements based on feedback
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for tooling and production requirements

• Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in sheet metal design and development
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Inventor / Creo / NX or similar)
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes (laser cutting, bending, punching, welding, etc.)
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
• Experience in product development lifecycle
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience in CNC programming
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Exposure to ISO quality standards
• Experience in cost optimization and value engineering
