V Rao & Gopi Chartered Accountants (VRG) is looking to hire an experienced Senior Compliance & Audit professional to lead our Compliance Department and manage end-to-end statutory and tax compliances for multiple clients.

Role Overview: This is a senior-level role responsible for managing direct & indirect tax compliances , handling statutory notices, overseeing monthly accounting closures, and leading a team of compliance professionals. The role requires strong hands-on expertise along with team leadership and client coordination.

Location: Madhapur, Hyderabad

Mode: Work From Office

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Salary: 28,000 per month

Experience Required: 12 years (Mandatory)

Eligibility / Qualification :

• MBA (Finance) / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in taxation, statutory compliances, and audit.
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC compliances.
• Proven experience in team handling and department leadership.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel for statutory hearings and department visits.

Key Responsibilities :

• End-to-end handling of TDS compliances including payments, returns, and reconciliations.
• GST compliances: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns (GSTR-9 & 9C).
• Income Tax Returns for companies and other entities.
• Handling and replying to GST, Income Tax & other statutory notices.
• Liaison with GST / Tax departments and visits to government offices when required.
• ROC compliances including routine filings and statutory documentation.
• Overseeing monthly accounting closures, journal entries, and review of books.
• Hands-on work and review in Tally ERP (mandatory).
• Exposure to Zoho Books (preferred).
• Leading, guiding, and supporting the compliance team.
• Ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant deliverables for all clients.
• Coordinating with clients and internal teams for smooth compliance operations.
