Senior Cloud Architect

We are looking for a senior Cloud Architect with deep, hands-on experience in Kubernetes, multi-cloud architectures, observability, automation, GitOps, and event-driven microservices .

Key Responsibilities (Aligned with Evaluation Criteria)

• Architect and deliver cloud-native SaaS solutions across AWS, GCP, Azure, and VMware.
• Design and operate Kubernetes platforms (7+ yrs) :
• Control plane, data plane, pod scaling, cluster networking.
• Manage both on-prem and cloud-based Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE/AKS).
• Build secure, scalable networking and storage solutions for cloud + K8s.
• Implement Terraform, Helm, Python automation , and GitOps workflows.
• Deploy & manage observability stacks: Prometheus, Fluentbit, ELK, Grafana, Kibana (multi-node environments).
• Architect event-driven microservices using Kafka / PubSub / streaming systems.
• Work with REST + gRPC APIs in production.
• Implement SRE practices: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, auto-scaling, capacity planning .
• Present architecture solutions, diagrams, and design documents to CXOs and senior leadership .
• Collaborate with SMEs, cross-functional teams, and contribute to open-source initiatives.

Mandatory Skills (Mapped to Your Questions)

1. Cloud-Native & Multi-Cloud Expertise

• 810+ years cloud-native experience in AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Deep understanding of cloud services, networking, firewalls, VPNs, SSL, IAM.

2. Kubernetes Expertise 7+ Years (Required)

• On-prem + cloud clusters
• Control plane, data plane
• Pod scaling & autoscaling
• K8s networking (CNI, ingress, mesh)

3. Service Mesh & Automation

• 2+ years with Istio / Consul
• Production experience with Terraform + Helm + Python

4. Observability & Monitoring

• 3+ years of K8s monitoring
• Hands-on with Prometheus, ELK, Fluentbit, Kibana, Grafana
• Multi-node cluster experience preferred

5. Networking, Security & Storage

• Strong hands-on experience with cloud/K8s networking, firewalls, SSL
• Storage & networking across Cloud + Kubernetes

6. Platform Tools & Distributed Systems

• Multi-node: GKE, ELK, Kafka, API Gateways (Kong preferred)

7. Scripting & Microservices

• Strong scripting (Python/Bash)
• Event-driven microservices using Kafka or Cloud Pub/Sub

8. API & Integration Knowledge

• Experience building & integrating RESTful + gRPC APIs

9. GitOps & SRE Practices

• Real-world GitOps (ArgoCD / Flux)
• SRE: SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, Autoscaling

10. Leadership & Architecture Communication

• Experience presenting solutions to CXO-level stakeholders
• Strong in solution design, whiteboarding, and high-level architecture documentation
