Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to oversee the on-site execution of commercial and residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing construction activities, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget. A strong understanding of civil engineering practices, construction standards, and local site management is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Execution & Construction Management

• Supervise day-to-day site activities, including civil works, structural execution, finishing, and quality checks.
• Ensure adherence to approved drawings, design specifications, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve execution challenges.
• Monitor material usage, labour deployment, and work progress to ensure project efficiency.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure all work complies with technical specifications and safety standards.
• Implement best construction practices to reduce errors, rework, and delays.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with statutory and environmental guidelines.

Project Coordination & Reporting

• Collaborate with architects, structural consultants, and MEP teams for seamless integration of design and execution.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, update construction schedules, and highlight bottlenecks to project heads.
• Support budgeting, BOQ validation, and cost control processes during execution.

Vendor & Material Management

• Coordinate with procurement teams for the timely delivery of materials as per site requirements.
• Verify material quality, quantity, and usage on site.
• Assist in evaluating vendor performance and suggest improvements or alternatives as needed.

Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain updated records of site activities, work permits, quality checks, and labour compliance.
• Ensure all documentation is audit-ready and submitted on time.

Required Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
• 8-10 years of experience in real estate construction, preferably in commercial or high-rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural works, construction methodologies, and site coordination.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, and standard project management tools.
• Working knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and quality norms.
