The Local Shops team in India is looking for a Senior Category Manager to own and drive scale
- up of categories and critical customer
- focused initiatives.
The person who joins this team must share our passion and commitment for serving customers while also making Local Shops a preferred fulfilment channel for Heavy & Bulky and Emerging whitespaces categories.
She/he must be able to balance thinking big, working with ambiguity while driving speed of experimentation.

- driven decisions and work with senior stakeholders across borders, both internally and externally.
Working in a dynamic environment, you will be responsible for formulating a strategy for your set of businesses , identifying and driving key flywheel inputs for the business and working with key stakeholders to influence product roadmap.
You will be responsible for the topline and input delivery for your set of business.
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and ecommerce challenges,

Operating in a fast
- moving and sometimes ambiguous environment you will work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for hitting business objectives.

Key job responsibilities
• Formulating long term road map for the categories the person is responsible for.
• Engage with internal and external customers/teams to improve products and business processes.
• Identify specific prospects/partners to approach, communicate the specific value proposition for their business and use case, and establish long
- term, successful partnerships.
• Develop strategy to acquire sellers across focus categories
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of with Excel experience
- 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience driving internal cross
- team collaboration
- Experience with business analysis and P&L management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross
- functional teams
