Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Development (BD) Manager with strong experience in managing government and institutional clients, particularly in sectors such as urban infrastructure, utilities, municipal corporations, water boards, and smart city projects.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding the North India market, covering Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana, by driving strategic partnerships, identifying opportunities in government infrastructure projects, and positioning Solinas robotic solutions for pipeline inspection and sanitation infrastructure.
We are looking for someone who is self-driven, relationship-oriented, and capable of engaging with senior officials, engineers, and decision-makers in government bodies, demonstrating how our robotic technology can improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability in urban infrastructure management.
- Develop and execute sales and partnership strategies across Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana.
- Identify opportunities with municipal corporations, water boards, smart city missions, and government departments.
- Build and maintain relationships with commissioners, engineers, project managers, and technical consultants.
- Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions with key stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals, tenders, and bid submissions and participate in RFQs/RFPs and contract negotiations.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation to deal closure and coordination with internal teams for delivery.
- Track government tenders, infrastructure projects, and policy developments relevant to sanitation and water infrastructure.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 810 years of experience in business development, infrastructure sales, government sales, or utilities sector.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, tenders, and vendor registration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work closely with product, operations, and service teams to deliver successful deployments.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strategic partnerships.
- Self-driven professional with a passion for technology-driven infrastructure transformation.
- Strong ability to build long-term relationships with government stakeholders.
- Organized and proactive, capable of managing multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
