Job Description
Responsibilities
- Build and execute retail GTM strategy for modern trade and large retail chains
- Acquire and manage key retail accounts (National & Regional chains)
- Drive solution-led selling across:
- POS & self-checkout
- Barcode/RFID hardware
- Retail software, kiosks, vision systems
- Engage with CXOs, CIOs, Retail Ops Heads, Supply Chain Heads
- Own revenue targets, pipeline forecasting, and closure
- Lead large RFPs, pilots, and POCs; coordinate with pre-sales & delivery teams
- Track competition, pricing trends, and emerging retail technologies
- Mentor junior BD resources and influence internal retail strategy
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Indian retail operations (store ops, DCs, supply chain)
- Proven experience selling enterprise solutions (not just products)
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Financial acumen: deal structuring, margins, ROI justification
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Retail Tech / AIDC / POS / Hardware + Software ecosystems
- Prior exposure to working with large retail brands (Reliance, Tata, Aditya Birla, D-Mart, etc.)
