Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager IT Staffing to drive new business and grow our contract staffing revenue in India.

This is a quota-carrying sales role for someone with proven experience in closing IT staffing deals, managing client accounts, and building a consistent billing pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business for IT contract staffing / resourcing services

Identify, prospect, and close new client accounts

Convert Innovatily into an approved vendor with target accounts

Sell contract roles across engineering and technology functions including:

Software Engineering

Data Engineering

AI / ML

Cloud & Platform roles

Own the end-to-end sales cycle:

Lead generation and outreach

Client meetings and requirement discovery

Rate negotiation and deal closure

MSA / SoW coordination

Work closely with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure fast turnaround and fulfillment

Grow accounts through additional placements and long-term engagements

Meet and exceed annual revenue targets ($250K+ ARR)

-Required Qualifications

612 years of experience in IT staffing / contract staffing sales

Proven track record of closing staffing deals

Experience managing active billable contractors

Strong understanding of:

Rate cards and pricing

Gross margins (1525%)

Client procurement and vendor onboarding processes

Experience selling to:

Product companies

GCCs

Startups or mid-sized enterprises

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications

Experience in offshore or global staffing models

Exposure to data, cloud, or AI hiring

Existing network of hiring managers or procurement contacts

Background in mid-sized or boutique staffing firms

Performance Metrics

New client acquisition and pipeline growth

Number of active billable resources
