Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE
The Young Brand Executive is responsible for driving secondary sales growth and strengthening market execution across an assigned territory. The role ensures superior in-store execution, product availability, visibility, and freshness across priority outlets including Titanium and Platinum accounts within the Beauty Advisor (BA) channel. The role is further responsible for expanding weighted distribution, strengthening distributor partnerships, and
delivering sustained volume and value growth for the Young Brands portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Delivery & Business Performance
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual volume and value sales targets.
Drive secondary sales growth through effective distribution and execution.
Ensure strong performance across the BA channel, with focus on Titanium and Platinum outlets.
Strengthen brand presence through superior retail execution standards.
Monitor territory performance and implement corrective actions proactively.
Support ASM/RSM in developing and executing territory growth plans.
2. Distribution & Market Execution
Expand weighted distribution and outlet coverage across priority channels.
Ensure optimal product availability, freshness, and shelf placement.
Strengthen brand presence in Titanium and Platinum outlets.
Execute visibility programs, trade activations, and in-store brand initiatives.
3. Distributor Management
Manage distributor relationships to ensure efficient supply chain execution.
Identify and appoint new distributors based on territory market potential.
Monitor distributor inventory levels, sales throughput, and credit exposure.
Conduct regular distributor performance reviews.
Resolve operational issues including stock shortages and trade claims.
4. Territory Planning & Market Development
Develop and execute Permanent Journey Plans (PJPs) for efficient territory coverage.
Continuously review and optimise coverage plans in line with business growth.
Support new product launches by ensuring distribution and visibility targets are met.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and channel partners.
5. Business Forecasting & Market Intelligence
Provide monthly forecasting inputs for all Young Brands:
BBlunt (BB)
Aqualogica (AQ)
Dr. Sheth's (DRS)
The Derma Co (TDC)
Submit First Cut Forecasts to the Head Office within defined timelines.
Share structured market intelligence and competitive insights with the sales team.
6. Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with ASM, RSM, and ZSM to drive territory performance targets.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales data, market updates, and execution metrics.
Maintain structured and proactive communication with all internal stakeholders.
