Location: MIDC, Andheri East, Mumbai

Employment Type: Full-Time (contract) (on-site)

Work Schedule: 5 Days a Week (Rotational Offs)

Process Timings: 9 am to 8 pm

Shift: 9-Hour Shift (Including 1-Hour Break)

About the Role:

WhizCrow is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our Mumbai team. In this role, you'll use your data, reporting, and analytical skills to help answer critical business questions and drive data-informed decision-making across our organization. You will work end-to-end on building robust datasets, creating data visualizations (dashboards), and responding to analytics and data requests from various business functions.

As our Data Analyst, you will work independently to manage your workload, prioritize competing requests, and deliver actionable insights that directly influence business decisions and strategy. You will collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, finance, product, operations, and customer services to translate business requirements into data-driven outputs. Key Responsibilities


Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Answer key business questions from functions across WhizCrow (marketing, finance, product, operations, customer services) using data and analysis
  • Collate, wrangle, and query data from various data sources to provide insights into what has happened and why
  • Create and maintain key business reports, including business trading, functional KPIs, and platform performance reports
  • Ensure reports deliver new and actionable insights, are updated with changes defined by business stakeholders
  • Develop real-time dashboards and weekly/monthly reports to track performance metrics and trends


Data Visualization & Communication

  • Determine the best way to display, structure, and visualize data so it is easy to consume and understand
  • Build interactive dashboards using visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio
  • Pro-actively provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and modeling
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations that drive business decisions
  • Present technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, logical, and understandable manner
  • Create decision-ready outputs that enable stakeholders to take immediate action


Data Management & Quality Assurance

  • Use SQL skills to build datasets that can answer business questions and enable other users to query data efficiently
  • Update and maintain datasets as business definitions or data requirements change
  • Monitor and ensure data quality across internal systems and databases
  • Manage data-dependent projects from requirements gathering through implementation
  • Work with internal and external partners to ensure all relevant data is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible


Statistical Analysis & Insights

  • Apply statistical skills (measures of average, variance, distributions, trends analysis, outlier detection) to analyze data
  • Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets
  • Conduct independent analysis to support strategic decision-making and business optimization
  • Generate data-driven recommendations that influence key business decisions
  • Track and analyze key metrics related to customer behavior, engagement, and satisfaction
  • Work autonomously to identify business opportunities and risks through proactive data analysis


Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and translate those into data products
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define deliverables, and drive meaningful analysis
  • Prioritize requests based on business value, importance, and urgency
  • Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization across the organisation


Key Requirements

Mandatory Qualification & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working within data and analytics in a hands-on role
  • Strong ability to solve stakeholder requests using data and analytics
  • Proven experience in evaluating large datasets and familiarity with statistical data analysis
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and wrangling
  • Working knowledge of the analytics pipeline (how data is collected and stored in databases, gathering business requirements, data wrangling, data preparation, quality assurance, and methods of delivery and visualization)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Solution-based and active mindset with exposure to business stakeholders and understanding of business requirements


Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in data transformation, wrangling, and statistical analysis using SQL and/or Python
  • Familiarity with data modeling and database design concepts
  • Knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation (preferred)
  • Experience with tools like Brandwatch, SEMrush,Google Colab, Antigravity,Looker Studio,Big Query,Google Sheets Gemini, Opalor similar analytics platforms is a plus
  • Improvements in Analytics - Connect and capture data from Zendesk, Play Console, App Store connect, Jira.
  • Map data across platforms to derive inferences and correlations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in digital marketing, ORM, customer experience, or entertainment/consumer brands
  • Experience in generating insights from digital platforms and customer touchpoints
  • Knowledge of sentiment analysis and online reputation metrics
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, Salesforce) or ticketing platforms (e.g., Zendesk)
  • Understanding of A/B testing methodologies and experimentation frameworks
  • Experience with advanced analytics and data science techniques
