Role Summary

The Senior Business Systems Analyst acts as the authoritative source for requirement intent and functional accuracy, facilitating alignment between clients, product owners, architects, and engineering teams. This role ensures that business requirements are precisely translated into build-ready, testable, and verifiable system behavior, with delivered solutions meeting client expectations. The position provides functional and technical guidance, without ownership of implementation or architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Client & Requirement Ownership : Gather business requirements, prepare clear CRDs, track changes, and highlight risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Product & Architecture Coordination : Collaborate with architects to translate CRDs into developer-ready PRDs, functional workflows, and release checklists while preserving requirement intent.
• Functional & Technical Guidance : Provide guidance on backend processes, data rules, validation logic, and role-based permissions. Review technical proposals for alignment with business requirements, clarifying ambiguities during development. Note: No coding or architectural ownership required.
• Delivery & Milestones : Support backlog grooming, clarify feature scope, and ensure stories are testable and development ready.
• Client Verification & UAT : Manage UAT scenarios, validate delivered functionality, and drive client sign-off.
• Conflict & Priority Resolution : Resolve requirement-related conflicts, balance client expectations with technical feasibility, and document decisions transparently.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3 - 6 years (maximum) of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Techno-Functional Analyst.
• Experience with B2B ERP SaaS, robotic software platforms, or workflow/microservice-driven systems.
• Proven expertise in creating clear and structured CRDs and PRDs.
• Skilled at understanding backend processes, validations, and database schema intent without coding.
• Works collaboratively with developers and architects to ensure accurate system behavior.
• Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and takes ownership of functional responsibilities.
• This role focuses on functional clarity and system requirementsit is not a Project Manager, Scrum Master, UI/UX Designer, Solution Architect, or Developer.
