About the Role:

The Senior Business Analysts primary function is to help with the design and development of companys future state technology platform. This role requires strong technical aptitude to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation. The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with a product team and developers, interface with all departments of the company to understand and document both their needs and requirements, diagram workflows, evaluate current processes and help design technical solutions to meet the business needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories

Break down Epics into Stories and define acceptance criteria in JIRA

Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)

Work with QA on test scenarios and validation of requirements

Write SQL queries to support analysis and requirement definition

Create and maintain advanced Excel models and mapping files

Design workflows, process diagrams, and mockups using Lucidchart

Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and roadmaps

Mentor junior analysts and support process improvements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must Have

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ Years working as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or similar position
• SQL skills and experience writing complex queries for data analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with complex formulas
• Proficiency in workflow modeling tools like Lucidchart.
• Critical thinking skills
• Experience working with Agile/SCRUM, writing user stories and following the development process through user story acceptance
• Excellent facilitation, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred

• Agile certifications.
• Knowledge of legal, financial and accounting domains.
• Experience with data integration concepts and ETL processes
• Experience developing mock-ups or wire-frames
• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills

Shift Requirement

2 PM / 3 PM to 11 PM / 12 Midnight

(Candidates must be flexible for other shifts if required)
