Senior BRM Operations Architect

We are looking for a Solution Architect – Operations with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle BRM, ECE, and PDC, who will work closely with the Operations team to ensure production stability, review and approve releases from the Development team, and proactively identify architectural or performance risks before deployment.

The role requires strong technical depth, release governance experience, and the ability to challenge solutions constructively to protect system stability and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

1.    Incident & Problem Management

• Provide architectural guidance during major production incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
• Identify systemic weaknesses in design.
• Recommend permanent fixes instead of temporary workarounds.
• Work closely with Dev and Infra teams for resolution.
•  Lead end-to-end RCA for critical and recurring production incidents.

2.    Technical Review & Risk Identification

• Conduct deep technical reviews of:
  • Custom opcodes
  • Policy logic
  • Pricing configuration
  • ECE rating logic
  • Discount design
• Identify:
  • Revenue leakage risks
  • Deadlock risks
  • Memory leak risks
  • Data integrity risks
• Ensure clean separation between configuration and customization.

Required Technical Expertise

Oracle BRM

• Strong understanding of:
  • Data model 
  • Custom opcode impact
  • Policy customization
  • Billing process flow
  • Pipeline configuration
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting expertise.

Oracle ECE

• Real-time charging architecture.
• Cache and balance management.
• Diameter flow understanding.
• Cluster behaviour and failover handling.
• Charging latency analysis.

Oracle PDC

• Product lifecycle management.
• Version control and deployment governance.
• Complex discounting structures.
• Balance impact validation.

Additional Required Skills

• Strong SQL and Oracle DB expertise.
• Linux/Unix command knowledge.
• Understanding of HA (Active-Active, Active-Standby).
• Strong documentation and review skills.
• Experience in telecom BSS production environments.
