About the Role

We are looking for an experienced BMS Hardware Engineer with strong expertise in Automotive Embedded Hardware Design, specifically in HV Battery & Battery Management Systems (BMS). The candidate should have hands-on experience in BMS hardware development, system architecture, validation, and functional safety standards within EV platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design & development of BMS Hardware

Requirements definition & system architecture design

Participate in design reviews & benchmarking

Generate test plans, reports & support DVPR reviews

Perform System FMEA / DFMEA

Deliver System Design Specifications & SOWs

Ensure compliance with ISO, ECE & GBT standards

Coordinate with software, validation & mechanical teams

Support HV battery strategy & system improvements

Lead technical discussions for robust, fault-free designs

Technical Skills Required

Automotive Embedded Hardware Design

HV Battery Systems & BMS functions

Schematic & PCB layout design (IPC standards)

Component selection, worst-case analysis & simulations

Power Electronics design

Vector tools CANalyzer, CANoe

Diagnostic tools

CAN / LIN / FlexRay communication protocols

DOORS or other requirement management tools

ISO 26262, ECE R100, ISO 16949, GBT standards

ASPICE (Added advantage)

EV Architecture (VCU, OBD, PDU)

Thermal management systems

Cell, module & battery pack validation

New Product Introduction (NPI) processes

Candidate Profile

46 years automotive hardware design experience

Tier-1 automotive system experience preferred

Strong experience in FMEA, DVP & validation

Proactive, ownership-driven & delivery-focused

Strong collaboration skills in global teams
