About the Program

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Basketball Coach to lead a competitive high school basketball program. The team competes at a top national level and is focused on developing student-athletes with aspirations for collegiate and professional basketball.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a proven ability to build a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Lead and manage both senior and junior school basketball teams.
• Develop and implement a competitive team strategy.
• Foster a culture of discipline, accountability, and teamwork.

Training & Player Development

• Design and conduct high-intensity training sessions.
• Improve players' technical, tactical, and physical performance.
• Implement individual player development plans.

Competition & Game Management

• Prepare the team for inter-school leagues, tournaments, and championships.
• Analyse opponents and develop game strategies.
• Manage substitutions, in-game adjustments, and performance evaluation.

Program Development

• Assist in building a long-term basketball development pathway.
• Identify and nurture talented players for advanced opportunities.
• Work with Sporting director to optimize athlete performance.

Athlete Mentorship

• Promote academic responsibility and personal development.
• Maintain discipline and adherence to the team's code of conduct.
• Serve as a role model for student-athletes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of basketball coaching experience
• Experience coaching competitive youth or high school teams
• Strong knowledge of modern basketball systems and player development
• Ability to run structured training programs and game analysis
• Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills
