We are looking for a Senior Backend Java Developer to design and scale high-performance backend systems. Youll work on core services in a fast-paced environment using microservices and event-driven architectures.

What Youll Do

• Design, build, and scale microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop and manage event-driven systems using Apache Kafka
• Design database schemas and optimize MySQL queries for performance
• Deploy and manage containerized services using Kubernetes (K8s) and ArgoCD
• Use AI coding tools (such as GitHub Copilot) to speed up development
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for owned modules

What Were Looking For

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Java (Core + Spring Boot)
• Solid experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-based architectures
• Strong knowledge of MySQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization)
• Experience with test-driven development and Java testing frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills in scalability and system design
• Experience using AI developer tools (GitHub Copilot or similar)
• Fintech experience is a strong plus
