We are building a B2B SaaS platform in the regulatory compliance space. Our product handles sensitive data, so security, reliability, and correctness are critical to everything we do.

Backend Development (60%)

• Build and extend REST APIs in Go using chi router and pgx (raw SQL no ORM)
• Manage PostgreSQL migrations, indexing, and Row-Level Security policies
• Implement multi-tenant data isolation
• Work with Kafka & Redis for event-driven processing, caching, and rate limiting
• Maintain cryptographic audit trails and ensure data integrity

Infrastructure & Deployment (25%)

• Manage Azure VM deployments using automated deployment scripts
• Operate Docker Compose infrastructure across environments
• Maintain monitoring stack (Prometheus + Grafana + Loki)
• Handle production deployments, rollbacks, and incident response

Testing & Security (15%)

• Write unit and integration tests for every change
• Apply security best practices (input validation, encryption, PII protection)

• 5+ years experience with Go in production
• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge (migrations, indexing, query optimization, EXPLAIN ANALYZE)
• Comfortable writing raw SQL (pgx) not ORM-only experience
• Strong Linux fundamentals (SSH, logs, containers, system troubleshooting)
• Experience with Docker / Docker Compose
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred / AWS acceptable)
• Ability to deploy, monitor, and own production systems

• Kafka administration (topics, partitions, consumer groups)
• Advanced Redis usage (streams, rate limiting)
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Ability to read Rust for occasional microservice debugging
• Experience in privacy/compliance or regulated environments
