Role Description

We are a technology research company building a scalable, cloud-native platform that integrates with a variety of services and tools. Our stack includes a robust MS SQL database, a Python-based web API, and a modern front-end built with React and TypeScript. All infrastructure is hosted on Microsoft Azure. We are looking for a Senior Backend Developerto join our small team to help us scale our platform, improve performance, and expand integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain python Web APIs.
• Take responsibility for CI/CD workflows.
• Develop and optimise queries views and tables in a SQL Server Database.
• Build data pipelines for cleaning and analysis.
• Contribute to design and architecture

Required Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of experience.
• Python proficiency required. Familiarity with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy a plus.
• Familiarity with C# is a plus.
• ML/data science knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with data modelling and database design
• Advanced SQL knowledge (DB tuning and performance oriented)
