Senior Azure Security Engineer

Location: Chennai/Hyderabad

Mode: 3 days work from office (HYBRID)

Night Shift: 9.30 PM IST to 6.30 AM IST

We are seeking a Senior Azure Security Engineer with proven experience managing and securing Microsoft Azure environments. This role will establish cloud security standards, safeguard sensitive data, and support secure adoption of advanced Azure services including Azure AI, Cognitive Search, Document Intelligence, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and enforce Azure security policies, standards, and guardrails aligned to industry frameworks.
• Manage and optimize security services: Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Policy, Firewall, RBAC.
• Secure advanced Azure services including:
• Azure AI protecting models, data pipelines, and APIs.
• Azure Cognitive Search & Document Intelligence safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring compliance.
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) container security, network policies, identity, and runtime protection.
• Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines and O365 integrations .
• Monitor, detect, and respond to threats across Azure and O365.
• Automate governance and compliance checks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform .

• Virtual network design, peering, private endpoints, and service endpoints
