Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior AWS Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in building scalable data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with AWS analytics services, PySpark, Medallion Architecture , and infrastructure automation using Terraform .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade data lakes and data warehouses on AWS
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, AWS Glue, Lambda , and API-based ingestion
• Implement Medallion Architecture (BronzeSilverGold) for scalable data processing
• Manage data ingestion from APIs, JSON, Parquet, Iceberg , and databases
• Build analytical layers using S3, Glue Catalog, Athena, and Redshift
• Implement IAM policies, encryption, and secure access controls
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD workflows
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance across ingestion and analytics layers

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, IAM)
• Strong PySpark development experience
• Solid understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehouse concepts
• Hands-on experience with Medallion Architecture
• Expertise in ETL/ELT and ingestion frameworks
• Experience working with API, JSON, Parquet, Iceberg formats
• Hands-on experience with Terraform
