Senior Automation Engineer

Senior QA engineers must have at least 6 years of experience and at least 3 years of experience in automation testing, including setting up the automation testing framework, creating new test scripts, and updating existing tests. In this role, you will be creating high quality automated tests together with colleagues. Working alongside developers, you will be involved in everything from daily stand-ups to demos and planning sessions.

The responsibility includes

Defining test specifications, suites, and cases using Jira.

Utilizing automated tools in various test stages.

Good Understanding of test approaches for End-2-End (UI), APIs, Integration and Non-functional aspects of

the system

Test both frontend and backend systems

Production of test evidence, testing reports and associated artefacts to support quality

Suggesting improvements/techniques to the product and overall development and testing process

Required Skill and Experience

Excellent English communication skill to have daily interaction with UK client.

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Cypress with TypeScript to validate UI and API

functionality.

Experience with Windows and Linux Systems

Understanding of databases and test data creation

Hands on Experience of a wide range of test tools such as Postman, JIRA, GIT, Jenkins

Continues improvement approach to all test activities

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tool (Kibana, ELK)

UK Shift(12.30 to 10 pm IST or 1.30 to 11 pm IST)
