Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with strong expertise in industrial automation systems and factory deployments.

This role involves end-to-end design, architecture, integration, and commissioning of automation solutions including PLC systems, Conveyor & material handling systems, Industrial sensors & actuators, SCADA & HMI platforms, Robotics system deployments, End-to-end system integration

Key Responsibilities

Industrial System Design & Architecture

• Design automation architectures including PLC panels, networking, and SCADA integration
• Develop control philosophies, system layouts, and electrical architecture documentation
• Define scalable hardware selection standards

PLC & SCADA Engineering

• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Omron preferred)
• Develop HMI/SCADA interfaces
• Implement structured ladder logic and industrial communication protocols

System Integration

• Integrate conveyors, robotics, sensors, and vision systems
• Work with Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA and similar protocols
• Ensure seamless cross-platform integration

Deployment & Commissioning

• Lead FAT & SAT activities
• Support on-site commissioning and troubleshooting
• Validate system performance in live factory environments

Vendor & Customer Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors for hardware selection
• Work closely with plant teams and operations leaders
• Provide documentation, training, and post-deployment support

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Automation & Factory Systems
• Experience delivering complex automation or robotics projects
• Strong background in system layout planning and solution design

Preferred (Added Advantage)

• Experience integrating Machine Vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, etc.)
• Exposure to robotics + AI-enabled industrial systems
• Python / C++ knowledge
