Senior Automation Developer (SDETs) are responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, monitoring, and integrating robust automated testing solutions across the development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Software Engineering, DevOps, Product Management, and QA—to ensure high-quality software delivery that meets both technical and business needs. Your work will support strategic initiatives such as accelerating release cycles, improving product reliability, and reducing production incidents. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and test suites across UI, API, and integration layers
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test coverage and stability
Identify, document, and track bugs and quality issues, providing detailed feedback to the development team
Analyze test results and root causes to improve product quality and prevent regressions
Drive the adoption of best practices in test automation and quality engineering across the team
Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high standard of code quality within test automation
Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and documentation
Stay current with new testing tools and strategies, evaluating and incorporating them as appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in test automation or software development in test
Proficient in writing automation tests using Cypress or Playwright
Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or another modern language (e.g., Python, Java, C#)
Hands-on experience with automated testing at multiple levels (UI, API, integration, performance
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and integrating tests into pipelines
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software testing principles, and the software development lifecycle
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a passion for quality
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
