Role Description

The current opportunity is for the position of Vice President/Senior Investment Associate. The right candidate shall be part of our public equity investment team.

Core responsibilities

New investments: Complete ownership of the analysis process both from a qualitative and quantitative perspective including detailed industry analysis, business analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, among others through extensive secondary and primary research

Existing listed portfolio: actively monitor the key value drivers of portfolio investments. Establish and maintain proactive systems to recognize and assess changes in investment thesis. Lead engagements with company managements, channel, competitors, among others

Profile Requirements

MBA from top-tier universities (IIMs/XLRI/FMS etc.) with 3-8 years of work experience on the buy-side or sell-side is mandatory

Sector experience in the BFSI space (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) preferred

Demonstrated passion for Investing

Self-motivated with an ability to work in ambiguity with minimum supervision

Strong analytical skills

Excellent communication skills

Strong financial modeling and presentation skills
