Senior Associate SEO

Key Responsibilities

1. SEO Strategy & Execution

• Contribute to planning and executing SEO strategies across categories such as NEET, JEE, Commerce Pro, and Upskilling.
• Perform on-page and off-page optimization based on data insights.
• Support monthly/quarterly goals for organic traffic, keyword visibility, and lead generation.

2. Technical SEO

• Conduct regular website audits using Screaming Frog, GSC, SEMrush, and other tools.
• Identify and resolve crawl, indexation, and technical performance issues.
• Ensure correct use of schema markup, canonical tags, robots.txt, and sitemaps.
• Collaborate with developers and UI/UX teams to enhance Core Web Vitals, page speed, and overall site health.

3. Content Optimization

• Work with content teams and subject experts to create SEO-friendly articles, landing pages, and program descriptions.
• Perform keyword research, competitor benchmarking, and SERP analysis.
• Refresh and optimize existing content to sustain rankings and improve relevance.

4. Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor KPIs including organic traffic, impressions, CTR, rankings, and conversions.
• Extract insights from GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and related tools.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with PPC, Social Media, Content, and CRM teams for integrated digital campaigns.
• Support link-building and outreach initiatives.
• Share SEO findings, trends, and best practices with internal teams.

6. Trend Monitoring & Innovation

• Stay updated on algorithm changes and emerging SEO trends.
• Experiment with new techniques, AI-based tools, automation, and testing methods.
• Identify opportunities in video SEO, local SEO, and structured content strategies.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

• 35 years of hands-on SEO experience (EdTech experience preferred).
• Strong skills in technical SEO, keyword research, and analytics.
• Working knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress preferred) and basic HTML/CSS.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong communication skills.

Tools & Platforms

• SEO: GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, Ubersuggest
• AI Tools: ChatGPT, Jasper, Surfer SEO, Frase, etc.
• Project Management: Asana, Trello, Notion
