Senior Risk Associate

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Risk Associate to support and strengthen our risk analytics and decision-making framework. The role will involve working closely with data, models, and cross-functional teams to assess, monitor, and mitigate risk across products and portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, monitoring, and enhancement of risk frameworks, policies, and controls across lending and financial products

• Analyse large datasets to identify risk trends, early warning signals, and portfolio performance insights

• Work closely with Analytics, Data Science, Product, and Business teams to enable data-driven risk decisions

• Assist in developing and validating risk metrics, scorecards, and dashboards

• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend actions to improve credit quality and loss outcomes

• Prepare risk reports, presentations, and insights for senior stakeholders

• Ensure alignment with internal risk standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Tier-1 college background

• 2–4 years of relevant work experience (Senior Associate / early Manager band)

• Strong exposure to Analytics / Data Science concepts and applications

• Hands-on experience working with data analysis, reporting, or risk modelling

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Good to Have

• Prior exposure to Fintech, Credit, or Lending ecosystems

• Experience with risk analytics, underwriting, portfolio risk, or fraud analytics

• Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Python, Excel, or BI dashboards
