Position: Senior Associate Corporate Law


Location: New Delhi (Work from Office)


Role Overview


We are seeking experienced and committed legal professionals to join our Corporate Law practice, with a long-term career orientation and a strong interest in growing within the firm toward leadership and partnership status.


The role is suited for a lawyer who not only demonstrates technical legal excellence but also aspires to build and manage client relationships, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the development of practice areas over time. The selected candidate will be expected to take increasing ownership of matters, clients, and internal team coordination as the role evolves.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial and transactional documents including term sheets, share purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, joint venture agreements, asset/business transfer agreements, and related contracts.
  • Advise clients on corporate and commercial laws including Contract Law, Companies Act, FEMA, and allied regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Actively support and manage M&A and transaction advisory matters such as mergers, demergers, slump sales, business succession, and restructuring transactions.
  • Oversee corporate secretarial and regulatory compliance requirements applicable to Indian entities, including coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with government departments and regulatory authorities to manage approvals, filings, and compliance-related matters.

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate or Post-Graduate in Law from a reputed institution such as National Law University (NLU), Symbiosis Law School, Jindal Global Law School, GLC (Mumbai), or Campus Law Centre (Delhi).
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience as a practicing advocate, with exposure to corporate law and M&A matters.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and legal reasoning skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrated intent to build a long-term career within a law firm environment, with the ability to gradually assume leadership, client-handling, and team-management responsibilities.


Salary:As per industry standards.
