About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Senior Finance Executive to join our finance team. This role is a balanced mix of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) (50–60%) and core finance operations (Accounts Receivable, Accounting, AP/AR, GST, MIS, and ad-hoc investor requests). The ideal candidate should be comfortable moving between forward-looking analysis and hands-on execution of month-end activities, reconciliations, and compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (50–60%)

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across business units.
Prepare periodic management reports (MIS) and dashboards highlighting key KPIs and financial insights.
Develop ad-hoc financial models and scenario analyses to support business decision-making and investor requirements.
Partner with business teams to track performance, identify risks/opportunities, and drive financial discipline.
Support preparation of board/investor presentations with financial narratives and trend analysis.

Accounting & Core Finance Operations (40–50%)

Manage month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy in books of accounts.
Handle Accounts Receivable (AR), including billing, collections tracking, and reconciliations.
Support Accounts Payable (AP), vendor reconciliations, and payment processing.
Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Respond to investor ad-hoc requests, audits, and due diligence requirements.
Drive process improvements in AR/AP, compliance, and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

Chartered Accountant (CA)
4–6 years of experience in Finance, with a mix of FP&A and accounting exposure (preferably in SaaS / Tech / BFSI environment).
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling.
Knowledge of accounting principles (Ind AS/ IFRS) and hands-on ERP experience (NetSuite (oracle) and Microsoft tools Or similar).
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian statutory compliance.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface with internal stakeholders and external investors.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
