Job Description
The successful candidate will belong to the larger LSEG Finance organisation. We assess effectiveness of control design and operation to mitigate risks, implementation of changes, producing control-related documentation, coordinating the evaluation and remediation of control issues, advising and assisting on control optimization and rationalization and coordinating external audit requirements.
As the Finance organisation goes through a multi-year transformation Beacon Programme), we play a key role in designing, testing and documenting the configuration and operation of new automated and interface controls as a new ERP system is implemented.
What do we do:
- Control Reviews & Walkthroughs: Evaluate and document the design, purpose, and effectiveness of automated controls and key reports, including process walkthroughs and configuration details.
- Assurance Testing: Conduct and document positive and negative scenario testing to ensure control effectiveness.
- Audit Coordination: Assist with scoping, coordination, and support for external audits and compliance requirements.
- Annual Attestation: Complete attestations, track evidence, document changes, and ensure implementation and review.
- Deficiency Evaluation & Communication: Assess control deficiencies, ensure action plans, and communicate changes and remediation to management.
- IT Collaboration & Strategic Programs: Maintain communication with IT teams for configuration changes and participate in deploying cloud-based applications with strong IT controls.
- Governance & Training: Prepare materials for governance forums and conduct compliance training for business and technology teams.
Experience & Skills:
Required
- 5+ years in IT Audit, Internal Controls, SOX Compliance, and Risk Management. Proficient in IT applications and infrastructure, including Oracle Fusion, SAP, Salesforce.com, EDW/Snowflake, OIC, BOOMI, ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Matillion), and MetricStream (GRC tool).
- Skilled in designing/testing IT automated controls, SQL, scripting languages, and code reviews.
- Good interpersonal skills and expertise in Office applications.
- Preferred: CISA Certification.
