Role Summary:  

As a Workday Adaptive Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the transformation of our financial planning capabilities through Workday Adaptive Planning, delivering smarter, faster, and more agile insights across the enterprise. What We’re Looking For: 

  • Experience working with Workday Adaptive Planning, including supporting configuration and deployment activities.  

  • Understanding of financial modelling and workforce planning concepts and how they contribute to business performance.  

  • Ability to work with data structures, perform analysis, and support improvements to planning and reporting processes.  

  • Familiarity with Workday Core HCM and/or Finance Modules is a plus.  

  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.  

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to deliver insights and support decision-making. 

 

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:  

  • Oversee the collection and documentation of requirements for Adaptive Planning configuration and enhancements.  

  • Lead in collaborating with internal teams and business stakeholders to clarify functional needs.  

  • Contribute to solution design and help configure system updates under guidance.  

  • Participate in testing and implementation of configuration changes and enhancements.  

  • Monitor release impacts and assist with applying necessary updates.  

  • Work closely with test, enablement, change, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery.  

  • Build strong working relationships across Finance, People, and corporate teams.  

  • Stay informed on relevant trends and best practices in workforce and financial planning tools. 

 

Key Relationships:  

To successfully deliver technology solutions, it is essential to partner closely with Finance, the People Function, WF Planners, Senior Stakeholders, and the Global Process owner. This collaboration ensures alignment across strategic priorities, operational requirements, and governance standards, enabling seamless integration and value-driven outcomes. 

 

Technical /Professional Skills & Competencies: 

 

Essential Skills:  

  • 2+ years deploying or supporting Workday Adaptive Planning. 

  • Workday certification in Adaptive Planning. 

  • Strong understanding of finance processes, principles and analytics. 

  • Experience designing and building complex workforce planning models. 

  • Ability to communicate business value through presentations and demos. 

  • Ability to apply sound judgment and communicate effectively to support decision-making. 

  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical team members to support collaboration. 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 

  • Experience in business analysis techniques and full project lifecycle engagement. 

 

Desired Skills:  

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and methodologies. 

  • Knowledge of Workday HCM and Recruitment modules. 

  • Experience with Agile delivery. 

  • Strong project management and prioritisation skills. 

 

Education/ Certifications:  

  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience). 

  • Workday Pro certifications are a plus. 

  • Training in software development lifecycle or methodologies.
