Responsibilities

- ETL Testing: Develop and execute test cases for ETL processes, ensuring accurate data transformation, loading, and extraction. Validate data integrity and consistency across various stages of ETL pipelines.
- Cloud Based Services: Knowledge about data related services for leading cloud service providers (AWS/Azure) to test and validate ETL processes.
- Data Related Concepts: Should have knowledge and understanding of data lake and date warehouse concepts.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and create detailed test plans and scenarios. Identify test data requirements and prepare test data as needed.
- Automation: Demonstrated experience of automating testsacross multiple platforms and technologies and understand its application throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Issue Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects or issues in the ETL process. Work closely with the development team totroubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Reporting: Generate and present test reports, including test results, defect reports, and test coverage metrics. Provide feedback on ETL processes and recommend improvements based on test findings.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that ETL solutions meet business needs and quality standards. Participate in meetings and provide input on data quality and testing best practices.
Skills:
- Proficiency in data services of any leading cloud providers like AWS, Azure
- Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data integration.
- Experience with SQL and scripting languages for data validation and testing.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and practices.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets and perform data profiling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Cloud DevOps for CI/CD integration.
- Certifications in cloud technologies or related data technologies.
