Role Summary

The Instructor/ Teaching Assistant role is unique in the sense that it provides an opportunity to learn new topics quickly, work on case studies, interact and build networks with top industry professionals and faculty members in the respective domains, and do work that directly impacts the lives and careers of our learners. upGrad is looking for people passionate about education to teach, design, and develop content on analytics, data science, machine learning, etc., to students and working professionals and help build the careers of tomorrow. 

Roles & Responsibilities

● Develop world-class content in Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Engineering and other similar domains.

● Understand the subject and develop courses to help learners meet high standards.

● Understand the content development process; work with educational content across all levels.

● Work closely with senior faculty, freelancers and global industry leaders

● Provide technical mentorship for learners through live sessions. 

Skills Required Graduates/Post-Graduates with:

● Teaching/Training experience of 2+ years in Data science & machine learning roles

● Strong in Python Programming

● Machine Learning Concepts – Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Bagging and Boosting, Linear and Nonlinear models, Recommendation systems, etc.

● NLP, NN

● Knowledge of SQL, Excel

● Advanced programming skills using Python and Tensorflow/Keras in the context of teaching and building ML/DL Models

● Knowhow in the development of ML models at scale and understanding of its application across sectors

● Smart, curious people who enjoy learning and upskilling in the latest fields of technology

● Ability to quickly learn various concepts, techniques & tools

● Comfort level in speaking in front of a camera.
