What is the Airbus DW Security team doing?

Security for DW (Digital Workplace) is focused on deploying security solutions around Digital Workplace (email, mobile devices, google), SaaS and AI. Your role as a Senior Security Specialist for Artificial Intelligence is to support and lead the security technical capabilities on two categories: Security of the AI Model & Development of Guardrails, Tools, and Processes for Secure Input /Output Flows using modern Programming languages, MLSecOps practices and Cyber Security Frameworks. The AI setup at Airbus is on AWS, GCP Clouds and also on-prem (OpenShift). Your role is key as you contribute to the overall performance and success of the Airbus AI Digital Security Posture.

• Bachelor or master in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field would be preferred

• Working experience in relevant technologies such as artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning etc..

• Excellent understanding and knowledge of artificial intelligence operating model and its related Security concepts 

• Strong working experience on MLSecOps, Cloud, DevOps, Containerization & Security principles

• Experience on analysing and recommending security controls for: OWASP top 10 for LLM, ML & Web Application security risks

• Proven ability and experience in designing, implementing security solutions and architecture 

• Proficiency in writing automations using Python, scripting (bash, shell) etc.

• Be able to lead activities, meet deadlines, and utilise time effectively

• Having a strong ability to adapt and be open to changes in the plans or roadmap, given the low maturity of security for AI market and the rapid pace of technological advancements

• A team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

As a Senior  Artificial Intelligence Security Specialist with our Digital Workplace Security team, you will work on following activities:

Design & Build Tools & Frameworks: 

• Within Airbus, we have AI platforms which are built on cloud and on-premises setups and your primary responsibility is to ensure security of these platforms and the AI models built or made available on top of these platforms

• Contribute towards design of artificial intelligence security frameworks with references from industry standards and Airbus standards for digital cybersecurity

• Configure and regularly finetune the guardrails to monitor and enforce security governance and controls to the input /output flows of the AI model

• Build and enforce design, development and usage security best practices, procedures, guidelines for Airbus company

Automations

• Develop and integrate tools, technologies in the early stage development to detect anomalies and other cyber threats to the Airbus AI platforms

• Integrate security into all phases of AI development lifecycle (promote Secure MLSecOps practices)

Collaboration and Documentation:

• Connect and collaborate with the product manager and owner to ensure alignment of strategies and roadmap

• Document and communicate technical designs, project status, risks, architectural decisions and configurations effectively

• Work closely with other security, infra and business teams: AI platform teams, cloud & architect teams, application and business teams etc.

Continuous Learning and Development:

• Participate in training, conferences, security forums to learn and stay abreast of the latest AI services, development framework & strategies, trends, threats and vulnerabilities

• Participate in workshops, training, certifications & conferences to enhance skills in AI Security
