Senior Art Director

We are seeking a Senior Art Director to join our user interface team within the technology function. The Senior Art Director will be responsible for creating engaging and innovative user interface designs for digital products and services. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that the designs align with business objectives and user needs. They will lead the UI design process, from ideation to implementation, and ensure that the designs are accessible, user-friendly, and visually appealing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the UI design system for digital products and services
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, developers, and other stakeholders to define design requirements and ensure design solutions align with business objectives and user needs
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate and iterate on design solutions
• Ensure that designs are accessible, comply with web standards, and are optimized for performance
• Manage and mentor junior UI designers to ensure consistent and high-quality design output
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI design and incorporate them into design solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
• 4-5 years of experience in UI design for digital products and services
• Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Ability to manage and mentor junior team members
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• Experience working in an agency environment on UI related projects
• Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite softwares
• Experience leading a team of 3-5 visualizers
