Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 7+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK, and MVVM architecture.
Experience with RESTful APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and Material Design guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

7+ years of professional Android development experience.
Experience with Jetpack Compose and modular app architecture.
Familiarity with Firebase, GraphQL, and mobile analytics tools.
Contributions to open-source Android projects or published apps on the Play Store.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack libraries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and QA to deliver high-quality features.
Optimise app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices.
Stay updated with the latest Android trends and integrate modern development tools and techniques.
