Senior Android Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer / Tech Lead with deep expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK, MVVM architecture, and SQLite. The ideal candidate will lead Android application development, define technical standards, and mentor team members while delivering high-quality, scalable mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design and development of Android applications using Kotlin
• Define and enforce Android architecture standards (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to junior developers
• Drive best practices for Android SDK, performance optimization, and security
• Design and manage local data storage using SQLite / Room Database
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend teams
• Own application releases, versioning, and Play Store submissions
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks

Required Skills:

• 810 years of hands-on experience in Android application development
• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK
• Deep understanding of MVVM architecture and scalable app design
• Extensive experience with SQLite / Room for data persistence
• Strong experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
