Senior Analyst - Operational Finance

Job Description:

Key Accountabilities

 Treasury Support

• Working closely with treasury team in setting up calendar for Intercompany reconciliations, netting and transfer of matched invoices to the payment module in Treasury tool.

• Working with markets and Treasury to arrange funds in bank if the net settlement results in outflow and the local markets need funds to affect the settlements agreed.

• Communicate the net cash settlement amounts to local markets along with the details of invoices settled for each brand/unit.

• Assisting market/entity champions/users during Intercompany Receivable and Payables cut off on loading/confirming intercompany invoice details in the tool.

• Timely setup of Bank accounts and Escalation setups for Intercompany module.

• Generating Intercompany netting statements for FX deals & regenerating netting statements post FX deals completion with the help of the Group Treasury team.

• Addressing payment queries from markets and providing solution to the issues within the TAT.

Business Partnering

• Partnering with local market finance teams to:

Ensure local market is completing processes within tight monthly deadlines Encourage prompt balance matching to maintain timely settlement of Group balances Resolve any items within the disputes workflow of the system and ensure this is done on a timely basis

• Partnering with regional & group finance teams to:

Communicate metrics and results of local market. Present ageing and other statistics. Identify significant trends that might be of particular importance, which are an indicator that regional finance needs to act to either encourage or discourage the trend.

• Build strong engagement with the regional and local Finance teams.

• Experience of process reengineering & alignment with group policies.

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Graduate/master’s degree in commerce/ICWAI/MBA/semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with 6 to 8 years of experience in Intercompany netting settlement.

• Prior experience managing Intercompany netting process for large corporations.

• Good understanding about bank line usage and treasury functions.

• Proven capability in communicating & partnering with all levels of the organisation.

• Strong communication, collaboration and relationship building skills across global cultures.

• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Advance excel skills added advantage.

• Clear record of driving end-to-end process improvements.

• Senior stakeholder management skills.

• Knowledge of the Media or Digital sectors an advantage.

• Fluent Spoken English, strong communication, collaboration and relationship building skills across global cultures.
