YOUR NEW ROLE:

At NAB, we’re passionate about building software that solves problems. We count on our lead engineer to empower users with a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance level to pursue their missions. As we expand customer deployments, we’re seeking an experienced lead dev engineer with significant coding experience to deliver core banking services to customers and colleagues. Specifically, we are searching for someone who enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences for every interaction.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING :

Experience

• 4+ years of experience as Java Developer (Java 8 or greater), ideally in Banking or Finance.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in microservices along with design pattern and principle around it
• Experience with high-volume, fault-tolerant applications
• Experience with distributed, event driven systems and using messaging protocols. Messaging middleware such as IBM MQ, Apache Kafka preferred.
• Experience of using AWS Services
• Hands-on experience using functional interface, lambda and streams etc
• Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts
• Experience creating RESTful API services
• Experience in developing event driven microservices using Spring Boot, Hibernate,Kafka and related technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of code versioning tools, for instance, Git
• Understanding of building tools Maven, Gradle, etc
• Understanding of code quality tools like sonar qube etc                    
• Understanding of git branching strategy                              
• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline and tools around that like jenkin, jfrog artifactory etc                                                
• Experience in writing junits using mockito and power Mockito
• Extensive knowledge of SQL and RDBMS like PostgreSQL etc
