Nasdaq Technology is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst/Product Owner (BA/PO) to become an essential part of our product team, collaborating closely with product managers.

Your role and responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, user needs, and product vision.

We elicit, document, and prioritize user stories, and features based on business value and customer input.

 We work closely with development teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and provide mentorship throughout development.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clarifying requirements, answering questions, and resolving issues throughout the development lifecycle.

Facilitate communication and teamwork between business stakeholders, development teams, and other relevant parties.

Participate in sprint planning, Product Backlog Refinement, and other scrum meetings to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.

Review and provide feedback on deliverables to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.

Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that delivered features meet user needs and acceptance criteria.

 Continuously monitor and prioritize the backlog based on feedback from stakeholders.

We expect you to have:

  •    2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner
  •     Experience with product management tools like Jira, Salesforce, Figma, or similar,  Strong understanding of Scrum methodologies
  •     Proficiency in SQL and Excel
  •     Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
  •     Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Additional Job Description

It would be great if you :

  • User Experience (UX) Design: Understanding of UX principles to contribute to the creation of user-friendly software interfaces.
  • Coding Skills: Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) to facilitate communication with developers and understand technical aspects of the software.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform product decisions and improvements.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Technical Writing: Proficiency in technical writing to create clear and concise documentation, including user stories, requirements specifications, and product roadmaps.
