Senior AI / Machine Learning Engineer

Contract to Hire

Hybrid onsite at Hyderabad

Timings: 6 PM to 3 AM IST

Starting with Part-time but potentially convert to full-time based on performance.

We are seeking a results-driven Generative AI / Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI and ML solutions that deliver measurable business impact. This role goes beyond experimentation : you will own models end-to-end, from data ingestion and model development to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate real-world problems into scalable AI systems. We strongly prefer candidates who are willing to work from our Hyderabad office and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy production-ready machine learning and generative AI solutions
• Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle : data preparation, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
• Build and optimize models using supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques
• Implement LLM-based solutions (RAG, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, agents) where applicable
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
• Collaborate with data engineers to build robust data pipelines
• Integrate ML models into applications via APIs and services
• Monitor model performance, address drift, and continuously improve outcomes

Required Qualifications

• 610+ years of experience in Machine Learning / AI engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Hands-on experience deploying models to production environments
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on business results and impact

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, etc.)
• Experience building RAG pipelines , vector databases, and semantic search
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments (government, healthcare, finance a plus)
• Willingness to work onsite or hybrid from Hyderabad
