Role Overview:

The Senior AI Engineer Presales Support plays a critical role in shaping AI-led deals by translating business problems into credible, scalable AI and GenAI solutions. This role sits at the intersection of technology depth, solution architecture, and client conversations, supporting pursuits from early discovery through proposal, demo, and solution sign-off. The role demands hands-on expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and RAG architectures, along with the ability to articulate value, feasibility, and architecture clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with sales, solution architects, and practice leaders to support AI-driven presales pursuits.
• Understand client business problems and translate them into AI GenAI Agentic AI solution architectures.
• Design and explain end-to-end AI solutions, including: RAG pipelines Agent-based workflows LLM orchestration and tool integration Build POCs, demos, and reference architectures to support proposals and client discussions.
• Contribute to RFP RFI responses, including solution approach, architecture diagrams, and technical write-ups.
• Lead technical deep-dive sessions with client architects, security teams, and engineering stakeholders.
• Estimate effort, cost, and feasibility for AI solutions across cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure presales promises are technically sound and scalable.
• Stay current with evolving LLM platforms, frameworks, and enterprise AI patterns.

Required Technical Skills:

• Generative AI Agentic AI Strong understanding of LLMs GPT-44o, Claude, Gemini, open-source models.
• Hands-on experience with RAG architectures ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval, grounding.
• Experience with agent frameworks LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar.
• Knowledge of tool-calling, function execution, and multi-agent workflows.
• AI Engineering Backend Strong Python skills for AI application development. Experience with FastAPI Flask for AI services.
• Familiarity with vector databases Azure AI Search, OpenSearch, Pinecone, FAISS, Astra DB.
• Understanding of metadata stores and relational DBs PostgreSQL preferred.
• Cloud Platform Knowledge Hands-on experience with at least one cloud AI stack: Azure OpenAI Azure AI Services AWS Bedrock GCP Vertex AI
• Understanding of enterprise security, RBAC, private networking, and compliance constraints.
• Experience deploying AI solutions using containers and CICD pipelines. Architecture Design Ability to design scalable, secure enterprise AI architectures.
• Familiarity with microservices, API-driven design, and observability. Experience creating architecture diagrams and technical solution documents.
• Presales Client-Facing Skills Critical for IS3 Strong ability to explain complex AI concepts in simple, business-friendly language.
• Experience participating in client workshops, solutioning calls, and technical presentations.
• Confidence in answering security, scalability, cost, and governance questions. Ability to balance innovation with practicality, especially in enterprise environments.
• Strong documentation and proposal-writing skills.

Preferred Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with enterprise AI platforms or internal AI accelerators. Exposure to industry use cases such as ITSM, HR, Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, Retail, or CPG.
• Familiarity with LLMOps ModelOps PromptOps practices.
• Understanding of AI evaluation, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.
• Prior experience in TechCOE, innovation labs, or platform teams.
• Experience Education 6-8 years of overall experience, with 5+ years in AI GenAI-focused roles.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related fields.
• Relevant cloud or AI certifications are a plus.
