We are seeking a talented AI Product Engineer with 8-12 years of experience owning AI-led product development, particularly in rapid prototyping for healthcare solutions using Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, and other cutting-edge techniques. As a technical backend coder in the AI era, you will drive fast prototypes that engineering teams can directly utilizefocusing innovation and speed, not scalability, compliance, or production readiness. You will manage cross-functional collaborations with product managers, engineering, UX teams, sales, and marketing to deliver prototypes that accelerate our healthcare Decision Intelligence products.

Responsibilities

• Own theend-to-end lifecycle of AI-driven products from ideation and rapid prototyping to productization, launch, and post-launch ownership.
• Design, build, and iterateAI-led prototypes and solutionsusing Python, LLMs, RAG pipelines, Knowledge Graphs, Agentic AI frameworks, and modern GenAI techniques.
• Act as atechnical product owner, translating business problems into AI system designs and functional prototypes that engineering teams can scale into production.
• Apply stronghealthcare domain expertise(claims processing, payer systems, policies, adjudication workflows) to build AI solutions that address real operational and business challenges.
• Collaborate closely withproduct managers, engineering teams, UX designers, sales, and marketingto ensure solutions meet user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
• Writeclean, modular, and reusable Python backend codethat serves as a strong foundation for production-grade systems.
• Leadtechnical decision-makingfor AI architectures, including model selection, orchestration, agent workflows, retrieval strategies, and knowledge representation.
• Facilitatestakeholder workshops, demos, and feedback sessions, driving rapid iteration and alignment across teams.
• Take ownership of the productafter development, including enhancements, performance improvements, roadmap inputs, and ongoing optimization.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends inAgentic AI, GenAI tooling, LLM orchestration, and AI product development, continuously experimenting to accelerate innovation.

Criteria / Requirements

• 812 years of experiencein AI engineering or AI product development, with a strong focus onhands-on backend development.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Python, building scalable backend systems and AI services.
• Proven hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) ,Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI frameworks and workflows, Knowledge Graphsand semantic data modeling
• Strong understanding ofAI system design, including prompt engineering, orchestration layers, evaluation strategies, and data pipelines.
• Deephealthcare domain knowledge, preferably in claims management, payer platforms, policy interpretation, or related healthcare systems.
• Experience owning productsbeyond development, including roadmap contribution, iteration, stakeholder management, and lifecycle ownership.
• Demonstrated ability to work infast-paced, cross-functional environments, collaborating with product, engineering, UX, sales, and marketing teams.
• Ability to buildrapid, non-production prototypesthat are technically sound and easily extensible by engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience runningtechnical demos and stakeholder discussions.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to balancetechnical depth and product thinking.
