This role requires 34 hours overlap with PST and strong, consistent communication with teammates (in English).

Opportunities for Impact

• Advance VoiceAI at scale: build voice AI applications for real-time conversations.
• Lead efforts in speech NLU and Voice AI integration for multi-lingual, real-world settings.
• Architect scalable GenAI pipelines that combine STT, LLMs, and TTS..
• Develop role-specific conversational agents for sales, support, and interactive reps.
• Build APIs and tools that make VoiceAI plug-and-play for clients.
• Ensure robustness: guardrail voice models against errors, fraud, and adversarial input.
• Build & secure GenAI models: design, train, fine-tune, evalaute and guardrail LLMs for real-world, high-stakes use.
• Architect, build, and deploy scalable AI modules that plug into Zinglys proprietary platform.
• Create interfaces that let clients spin up new GenAI experiences in record time.
• Lead the design and development of domain-specific LLMs tuned for industry roles and use cases.
• Push the boundaries of real-time conversational AI with scalable, production-ready systems.

Preferred Experience

• 58 years as an ML/AI engineer, with a strong focus on VoiceAI or conversational systems.
• Proven track record of taking ML models from prototype to production impact.
• Hands-on with open-source LLMs (training, fine-tuning, guardrailing).
• Strong background in real-time AI.
• Deep experience in MLOps and the AWS ecosystem.
• Expert in Python, with strong Java debugging skills.
• Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, distributed systems.
• Experience with REST APIs and stream-processing systems (Kafka, etc.).
• Knowledge of modern ML tooling, pipelines, and deployment best practices.

Nice to Haves

• MLOps DevOps exposure (CI/CD for ML).
• Prior startup experience (we move fast)
• B2B or SaaS product experience.
